George's Left Hip Resurfacing and Right THR with Dr. Schemitsch 2009

Last Wednesday, I had a total, right hip replacement, conducted here in Toronto. It was performed by Dr. Emil Schemitsch. Currently, I’m surprisingly pain-free, taking, only, the occasional Percocet. I had an Oxinium implant installed.

Five years ago I did have a resurfacing done on my left hip, and by contrast, never felt any hardness to the surgical site. Now, the only time I’m aware of the Birmingham is when I go through a an airport and get the pat down.
