Dr Marchand Rhode Island

hi ive decided on resurfacing if a canidate,  been limping around long enough who would of thought at fairly young age of 51.  my insurance will cover 100 percent doctors in ct rhode island and ma.  so far dr marchand in rhode island seems to be the most experianced over 800 hip resurfacings and studied under dr su. ive read a few positive postings on dr marchand but a few more would be helpfull and reasuring thanks danny

Hey Danny, good to have you here, welcome. Dr. Marchand has a good reputation from what I've heard. A doctor with 800 resurfacings is very experienced and will likely be a good choice.

I think you want to find out more about him and how confident you are with him. I certainly interviewed my doctor, having gone to several before. When you do talk with him or her, here's a good list of questions to ask about how experienced they are, how they go about treating patients, and what the treatment post surgery is.

This is a process, you are not locked into one doctor, so if one doesn't do it for you, go to another. Dr. Marchand, from all reports is a good start.
