I haven't been on here in forever but it's great to read that you're doing well.  I've been doing a ton more which has been awesome.  I'm back to training BJJ 2 days/week, hitting the gym hard (mostly upper body) and even kicking without much issue.  My range of motion is improving and I know when I push things too hard because my hip will be sore.  I'm not doing anything stupid but I def. feel 1000 times better.  I can't believe Nov. 6th will be 1 year already.  Can't believe how quickly time flies.

Hey Pete! Awesome to hear you're doing well. You've still got even more good things ahead - I'm back to some pretty hard kicks now, the ROM is improved quite a bit to the point where it really is just like regular stretching.

1 year soon?!?!? Both you and Danny are really vets now. I saw Dr. Snyder last month for my 2 year, won't see him for another two now.

That's awesome, Danny - it's been a stretch. Just shows that healing is the first priority, but getting your muscles back in line is a strong second. Very cool that you're getting there   8) ;D.

Good stuff, Danny. Everyone seems to be using the kettlebells.

I only used them one summer when I was fourteen; I was working out with boxers at the local boxing gym near me, they used them every day. I left them behind since no one had them at the other gyms, and now they're everywhere.

I am, Danny, among others; sometimes by itself, more likely in combination with Bass ale or blueberry ale (black and blue).

I do range around, though - currently since it's fall in New England, the local breweries are going nuts with pumpkin beers and I follow, since I am a slave to flighty trends. Yes, I did wear platform shoes and polyester in the disco era and power suits in the 80's. Not proud of it, but there it is.

I usually only drink draft beers, though - the fresher the better.
