Hi, Pat! Thanks so much for responding to my earlier whiney post! I can now see some progress, and I think I was just stuck in the moment, and negative thoughts crept in.
At 4 weeks, I am just beginning to transition to a cane. I have also started water exercises, but I do get stiff after I get out! I think this is probably good, because I feel I am using muscles in the water that I don't use on land yet.
I wanted to give you my Dr. information. Dr. Barba, in Rockford, Illinois did my surgery. I feel he did an excellent job, and he has done 100 BHRs. He has done many more THRs, but really tries to do the BHR whenever possible. I highly recommend him. He is affiliated with Rockford Orthopedic. Thanks
