Title: Indian doctor recomendations
Post by: bschne1909 on January 11, 2010, 11:06:36 PM
I am going to India soon for a BHR or a BMHR.  I have contacted Doctors Bala, Bose, Shetty, Venkatachalam and Thirumalaisamy.  They all agreed that I need a resurfacing and that I may have waited too long, hence the BMHR possibility, even though I don’t feel that bad.
I have read a great deal about Doctor Bose and am definitely considering him if his schedule permits but the others may be able to get to me quicker and are $1,300 cheaper.  Dr. Bose has not gotten back to me about any openings in his schedule.  Does anyone know how long a wait is typical?
Is anyone familiar with these other doctors and the foreign patient department of their hospitals?  I have had surgery in India before so I know some of what to expect but I have never dealt with any of these doctors before.  We have some difficulty eating very spicy food so a department experienced in feeding foreign patients will be best.
