Is the Biomet implant system that Dr Gross uses covered by insurance?

Hi
I am not a Gross hippy, but I know a lot of Gross hippies have their surgeries paid for by their insurance companies.  If you need to know more, I would just ask Dr. Gross's office. They use the right codes for their type of hip device so the insurance companies cover the hip resurfacing.

Sorry I can't give you any more info.

I would defintely NOT contact your insurance company yourself.  Just let Dr. Gross office handle all of that, they work wonders with insurance companies.  And yes, the two parts of the Biomet device are both approved by the FDA, they just are not approved to be used together for resurfacing, basically it is legal for them to be used "off label" though.  But let Dr. Gross office handle all of that with the insurance company.
