I have a dull continuous toothache in my left hip, and if I twist slightly it becomes a sharp pain and I loose half the strength in my left leg an hop for about twenty seconds. It is alright if I walk straight ahead, but my left foot points slightly outwards, and if I try to correct it my knee aches. I can walk and stay on my feet for a couple of hours if I have to, can climb multiple flights of stairs and ride a stationary bike. I don't take any medication.
Most of the lateral strain on my back has largely gone, and I am only slightly lopsided, as opposed to two months ago, in May, when I was leaning so far over to the left that I had a stiff neck. I think that was the time I wore away the last of the cartilage and I became bone on bone. The doctor wrote 'I am now scheduling for August', so I replied straight away 'yes please.'
I am not in any pain that really bothers me, and I am not really incapacitated. I am just a bit bored. I cannot wait to be on the operating table saying, 'come on doctor, get on with it!'
Give or take a few days ... Toothache, minus one month.
