Hi Everybody,
Tomorrow is the big day (21st June). My right hip is being resurfaced at West Middlesex Hospital England.
I am 39 years old and have had hip pain everyday for the last 9 years, I have no fears of the operation. I have been able to gain great
knowledge from this website - thanks to everyone who contributes.
I hope all goes well and I have a relatively short stay in hospital. I am looking forward to getting on the road to recovery.
I will update when I have joined the club.
Ian.
Good Luck Ian. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I look forward to reading your posts after your surgery. I wish you a quick and easy recovery.
Pat
Best wishes for your surgery. I look forward to reading your posts once you have joined the club. I won't be far behind you. 41 days and counting.

Best of Luck Ian. You sound nice and calm and ready for the surgery. Will be thinking of you tomorrow.
Congrats, it will get better each week. Just hand in there and before you know it, you'll be out of pain and movin. Take it easy.
Recovery is fast so take pics because before you know it you be back to better than normal. Rest and let your body handle the recovery.
Ian,
You are right to have no fear of the operation-it's such a fantastic procedure it will go brilliantly and instead of the deterioration you've had to endure, your new hip will just get better and better.
Best wishes for tomorrow.
