Hi,
Sorry I've not been on, but today is the second anniversary.. is that the right term?... of having my right hip resurfaced.
I guess that fact that I've been busy with my my final year at university, which I"m glad to say I've finished and got my degree... and not come back here looking for help.. is a good sign of how it is.
I hope there are other who are having such success after their operations.
Very pleased you are doing well.
Congrats on your anniversary, who did your procedure and what device did they use?
Great news on the hip and the degree.
Thanks for checking back in. Please check back in when you can. Your advice and experience may be able to help others. If nothing else it supports the data on successful procedures.

Hi,
Dr Bamford, did the procedure, I'm in the UK, so you probably won't know of him.
I'm not sure what device he used, I didn't ask, and I would probably have had more luck getting water from stone than getting that much from him.
I have a check up with him/is assistant in two weeks.
Glad to hear from "older" Hippys. Sounds like you are doing well.

You must ask. You should also find out the size and batch numbers. If you need revision or have an accident in the future, this information will increase your options.
Also, are you not interested in what is inside you?
I'll be seeing the specialist in a couple of week I'll look into it then
Congrats on your two year anniversary!
What sort of post op physical activities are you doing Vs pre op?

Thank you so much for letting us know how you are doing! Glad to hear life is well! I wish other hippies that are further along than some of us and doing well would check in once and awhile, we need to hear the bad AND the good! Best wishes- Lu
