My HR is scheduled for 11:15 am tomorrow with Dr. Mont at Mt. Sinai in Baltimore. I am nervous, but also know it's going to be like Christmas. I am going to wake up to a brand new pain free hip!!!! Best present ever!!!
Christine
Good Luck with your upcoming surgery! We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Looking forward to reading your post op posts.
Pat
Best of luck to you, Christine, and Merry Christmas!
I hope your stay in the hospital is enjoyable and that you can post from there and tell us how you are doing
Good luck, Jim
Best of luck. I too received a shiny new hip for Christmas (on 12/5). I am just past one week post-op. The first week had some ups and downs but I am feeling much better already. I have no hip pain only a little muscular pain which is to be expected. I am down to one crutch for walking and doing some brief walking inside with a cane. :) Take care, you wake up and it is over!
Christine
Best wishes for a smooth procedure, and speedy recovery. Today is the last day your hip is going to get worse, it's all going to get better starting tomorrow. Be sure to follow all the post op restrictions, therapy and such very closely, therein is the key to a successful outcome, or at least has been for me so far (10 weeks after).
Please keep us posted as time allows.
Dan
Good luck, Christine! Check in when you can, shiny new hip and hippy status in hand. Just think - a gift of walking without OA pain.
Good luck Christine! :)
Good luck. Keep us updated!
Good luck Christine. It'll be over before you know it & you'll be on your way to a Christmas with a brand new bionic pain free hip!
Beaming you good thoughts from NZ,
Simon
