Title: Rehabilitation Guidelines
Post by: brightside on March 21, 2012, 05:16:17 PM
The Hospital for Special Surgery has an article entitled "Hip resurfacing: not your average hip replacement from Curr Rev Musculoskelet Med  2012 Jan 11 by Siverling, Chow, Niedbala and Su.  It reviews the rehabilitation programs following HR with "progression through phases by way of reaching certain milestones and goals".  I saw it on Pub Med but don't have access to the full article.  Just thought this would be interesting.

Dr. Su was one of the contributing authors. Any of his patients on here want to send him and email to see if he'd be willing to share with the group?

That would be an interesting read. It would be really interesting to s if there are any major differences between the US type recovery protocols and say Mcminns.
