Title: Osteoking
Post by: RolfHofman on May 19, 2012, 11:41:57 AM
Hello Good People.
I am new to this. Just was diagnosed a week ago with AVN in my right hip, at early stage.
It was a shock to me, and NYU Hospital doctor specialist in joints diseases was cruelly brief with diagnoses.
The only option he gave me was walking with a cane and eventually if that won't work total hip replacement.
I googled the subject and found at least few options.
If worse comes worse there is resurfacing, he didn't say a word about that.

But I am hoping I won't need surgery.
So would you please give me some more information about Osteoking.
Thank you Good People for all good work you are doing on this site.
Even the truth is painful, better the truth than illusion lies.

If I were you I'd get a couple of other opinions.

At NYU see Dr Scott Marwin about resurfacing.  He did both my knees on November 14, 20011.  My recovery couldn't have been better.  This morning I ran for 40 minutes continous and this afternoon I rocked the mountain bike for 1:30:00.  These hips are working great!
