Different people react differently to operations. If your at all concerned speak to your surgeon.
Hi george, sorry you're having these issues! What has your surgeon said about these? You should have had your six week checkup, what was his or her response when you brought it up?
dr mont said go to therapy and call me in 6 weeks, but this doesnt seem to be improving to me. left him a mesage today but they didnt call me back.
Hey George,
I didn't have that, but my brother did, it ended up going away in the 7-9 week timeframe. The PA explained it was from
the operating table, kind of like a being in a fabrication jig. He was quite worried about it, but in the end it eventually dissipated.

That sounds like good news, Shep. Hopefully it won't be any big deal for George. I've seen lots of different posts about unusual lumps and discomfort lasting or coming up more than 7 weeks post-op, and most just turn out to be standard recovery pains and lumps and they go away in time, usually within a 3 or 4 month period after surgery. I guess I'd say if it continues to not improve, get worse, larger, more painful, than I would definitely talk to the doc.
