I shouldn't have asked. Woke up this morning at 2 am with a blazing migraine! My wife gave me an ice pack for my head as I can't take
any pain meds this close to surgery. After rolling around in pain for an hour I succumbed to taking my migraine meds. Have to call the
nurse today and let her know. Hope that's not a deal breaker. The good thing is, generally when things start really rough for me their
outcome is successful!
What did you take for the migrain? Make sure you tell them. I hope it doesn't affect your surgery, but if it does then they will just reschedule it. It will all work out.
Good luck today.

Thanks,
I did tell the nurse. Surgery still on for 9/11. Not sure what time. Will call today for exact time
Best of luck. When you wake up, it will be time for a new life!
Hope it went well, keep us posted!
Wow, creepy similarities. I had a unbelievable headache Saturday night to where I had to take Tylenol. It helped tremendously, but I'm not sure how taking Tylenol a week before surgery will go over with the doc. I've read online though that plain tylenol before surgery is ok.
It is... Right ?
Hoyt, hope everything is going well!
Good luck Hoyt. Thinking of you :)
Its here! My day has finally arrived. Time for my last shower at home (until I return home that is) and off to the hospital. Talk to you soon! ;)
Good luck, Hoyt, we will be with you all the way.
Good luck, hoyt...
Box and Hoyt - Tylenol is what you will be taking for pain post-op, with a few narcotics. Those narcotics are probabaly very similar to most migraine pain meds, so I think it will be fine. Always good to ask the doc though.
Good Luck guys.
Good luck, Hoyt! Check back in when you're out (and hopefully still on the narcotics......always funnier posts that way).
