This question is just out of curiosity, but if one was to have their cup slip, or move........is it a painful thing? Is it a sharp, or intense thing? Does it manifest as a soreness?
I would have thought it would be painful mate. You having problems?
I would think that you would most definitely know about it if that was to shift in anyway. Hope all is OK....
From people I've read normally you would get pains shooting down your leg and sometimes your back, these are not just your run of the mill sore muscle types of pains, this usually occurs with movement.
Most of the time loose cups show up within weeks of the surgery, at even a few days post op the cup is starting the get a little bit of adhesion. If the cup was implanted correctly it won't usually just slip out either.

Didn't mean to raise the alarm or anything. I'm not having anything but normal soreness after a strenuous workout. One of the drills in my last workout was one-legged jumps onto a plyometric box. I did not jump down one-legged, only stepped down. So, my hip flexor is a bit sore.
It just got me to wondering if I would DEFINITELY know if something happened or not.
Thanks for the replies.
If you had a loose femoral component or a cup you would know it for sure, most that have reported have mentioned shooting pain.
It's very normal to have aches and pains, especially when you push it in the first year.
