Well, today is the 5 year anniversary of my hip surgery with Dr. Gross.
I celebrated it with playing 18 holes of golf, then we're headed down to the river for some water skiing.
It's funny, most days I do not even think of my operated hip, although on some cold and rainy days I do think about my hip that will probably need done in the next year or so.
All I can say is, if you are in great pain DON'T BE. Find an experienced surgeon and get yourself out of pain.

Congrats chuck!!!! That's awesome!! ;)
Alright Chuck! Congrats and nice confusing mix of sports!
I just came back from a massive family reunion. Over a hundred family and some friends (we limited it), played three soccer games, tug of war, egg / spoon / mouth race, volleyball, etc.
It reminded me at the end of an exhausting and hip pain free day (sore everywhere else) why this is such a great treatment. It lets us do real family things with impunity.
Nice! Congratulations to you and may we all experience your success!

Congrats Chuck. Well said and yes golf and water skiiing, interesting combo.
Hern - add, getting in and out of a picnic table without pain, to the list specifically for family reunions and summer fun.
Well done Chuck - I like the golf / water ski combo too - a new bi-athlon for the next Olympics?!
YIPPEEEE!! Congratulations. That's so great.
I hope you have many more pain free years ahead ;D

Brilliant mate, my Bruv isn't sure of the year let alone the date he had his done. Lets hope we all get to that point.

Right? I was doing that without any problem at all. Just to show off I alternated sides and balanced a bit before fully sitting.
Great report Chuck. Also thanks for all of your help with this site. Keep leading the good life!
Thanks all.
At this point, I do believe that if your installation angles are correct I think we will all take our devices till the end.
My only good joint is my operated joint at this point. Wish they all felt like my right hip does.

Chuck,
Congratulations! I hope we all experience the same success you have.
Maybe I'll run into you when we have our other hips done by Dr. Gross. Stranger things have happened.
Mike
A late Happy Anniversary. 5 years! Great.
