Title: Xrays electronic. Will your dr send the to you.?

Just a quick question...will a dr send X-rays to your home address via email...just in case you want a second or third opinion. Last time years ago when I had X-rays conducted I was given a hard copy of these. Nowadays it's done electronically just wondering

Mine didn't email them to me, I asked them to send them and they send a CD by snail mail.

This doesn't help you, but in Canada a patient's medical records belong to that patient and the patient is entitled to have any or all of them sent to him or her.

Mine wouldn't send my x-rays via email. They sent them through the post on a disc.

Thanks folks hopefully here in Aus the surgeon is as advanced as you guys.No doubt after seeing surgeon next week he will want more X-rays closer to the operation (early Nov) as the previous ones were done late last year. Hopefully the hip hasn't deteriorated to much in the interim,
