Title: Wow One Year!
Post by: Bryan712 on November 18, 2013, 10:15:58 PM
Hard to believe where I am today compared to one year ago. Tomorrow is the anniversary of my RBHR, today I was at the gym and deadlifted about 185lbs.  Last year at this time I could not walk up the steps in my house just carrying my bodyweight   ???.  It takes time don't rush it, take care of yourself its worth it later on!

One of the best things I did was look up McMinn's you tube video on recovery exercises.  I had PT about twice and got rid of her and did it on my own several times a day. (My insurance would only cover a small portion of physical therapy).

Thanks to everyone here for the encouragement and thank the Lord for a skilled surgeon! :D

Congratulations!
Thanks for stopping by, it's always encouraging to hear the good stories (most forums are normally biased towards the issues -understandably, as "no news is good news"-).

Congratulations on your anniversary.

Who was your surgeon? I would like to post your story on the main website and do that by surgeon.

I hope you have many more anniversaries.  Your story will help others learn it takes time and patience, but is well worth it to be active and out of pain.

Good Luck.

Pat
