Title: off meds difference in early recovery state
Post by: Jerry C. on June 06, 2014, 02:10:40 PM
I am 5 and a half weeks post op on Rt hip now.  I am having surgery on the Lt hip this Monday the 9th.  Not very excited about quick turnaround surgery 6 weeks later but I guess they will heal together.  My right groin area I notice the last few days has been a bit more sore.  I have been off anti-inflammatory meds for the last week due to the upcoming surgery.  The soreness is not too bad but I do notice a difference.  Could this be the psoas tendon area that is causing this soreness?  Jerry

Might be Jerry, but it doesn't need to mean it's long term. You're still healing, will heal some more. Just be patient with your body, if it hurts, treat it nicely, ice and let it rest if needed.

I had my second done three months after the first, right now you must be just done with the surgery. Good luck and keep us posted.
