Well believe it or not 3 years ago today was my lbhr's birthday! Wow that has flown!!! It really has been a long road back from the surgery but I still feel like it is improving now. It is certainly getting stronger and stronger.
I did say to Mr Treacy the other day I just hope my right bhr will be as good as the left and he said it will probably be better as he's done even more now than he had then! ;) can't wait to finally have zero legacy injuries and look forward to a pain free latter part of 2015!
congratulations on your anniversary! I hope you have many more when you are bilateral!
Good Luck.
Pat
Thanks Pat really appreciate it. I would now have some obscure (if it had lasted this long!) thr if it wasn't for your site and the help and information I gained from the membership here! I thank you from the bottom of my heart as I will go into my bilat op next year not nervous in the least as I have a world class surgeon and a proven device and I now know exactly what to expect! ;)
Thank you one and all :D
Congrats Danny! You had a rough initial go of it, very cool that you are in this good shape now.
Lift one for me.
You don't have to tell me twice mate :D
Good news - well done.
Congrats Danny-can't believe it's 3 years!
You're right it can keep improving-I recently did the Weymouth Sprint Tri nearing 5 years on the HR

Hippy Birthday mate
Cheers buddy ;D soon enough I'll have twins! :D
Congrats danny! I can't believe it's been three years: I remember reading your posts before I settled on revision (which is when I made my first post). Time is flying, so we must be having fun.
Thanks Tim :) hope your new joints are working nicely!?
Well done Danny, you martial arts guys amaze me how hard you can push your resurfacings.
I remember your tough months when you were forced to run on it quite early and thought something was wrong.
You came back strong and carried on encouraging and advising anyone that needed it on here-
long may it continue!
Good for you Danny. I remember when you had the first op. I'm sure the second will be fine also.
moe
I am looking forward to the bilat in a weird way! I siad to Mr Treacy i wanted to wait 6-9 months due to work but man im limping a lot at the moment. The weather has just turned which i think has set it off. I am going to go see my GP and ask for some stronger pain killers.
I remember someone on here mentioning a natural spice that was an anti inflamitory but i cant remember what it was! Was it turmeric? I would like to try this!
Yay! Thanks for update!:)
Congratulations Danny. I remember that we were roughly on the same schedule. I'm glad it's been going well. Now you're about to join the Bilat Club. Sorry about that, but welcome to the club.
Hi Hippie mate ,
Tummeric is a great anti-inflammatory, as well as cinnamon . On the opposite side of the coin , Tomatoes, Capiscum, potatoes, Chilli, Egg Plant are all INFLAMMATORY. I know this , because prior to my Op.- LHBHS- these foods were "bad " , and when I stopped having them , alot of pain disappeared. :D Cheers , Kiwi Boy from Down Under.

Congrats!! Thanks for sharing that with us!!! Here's to many more!!
Thanks luann :) the left hip continues to get better but the right continues to get worse :( think I've just done my last judo session (till I'm post rbhr). I just can't move properly and I'm babying the hip which is making it worse. Think it's time to just try and prep for the op.
Glad to hear your left hip is doing well and you are getting the right one repaired soon. Thanks for all your posts. Take care and good luck.
