Title: Here it is (x-rays)!
Post by: shabbis on December 12, 2014, 12:03:07 PM
2 weeks post-op! No more crutches. Walk with a limp, but I can get around. Start the real PT next week. Pain is mostly gone. Just a lot of soreness now. Having difficulty sleeping at night still though. I am utterly amazed at how fast recovery has been. No cardio for the past 2 weeks has been driving me crazy though.

As you can see, the right will have to be done at some point as well as I have FAI and HOA in both hips. Well *had* in the left :).

I wouldn't know if it were malpositioned or perfect. But, congratulations on being done with it!

It can be fairly obvious when there not placed right. I've seen some cups positioned at nearly 80 degrees! And badly notched femoral necks. That looks pretty good to go :)

That looks great!  I'm anxiously awaiting my own appointment with Dr Pritchett three weeks from now...patience is not my strong suit.  ;D
