Title: Sloppy Anterior thr Replacement
Post by: jm2006 on December 16, 2015, 01:33:53 PM
my issue is a sloppy anterior thr hip replacement in 2010.  I've now read and talked to others who ended up with NERVE damage from the anterior.

Has anyone else had this problem?

This was a HR or a THR?

I am surprised nerve damage has lasted this long. Isn't it supposed to be temporary? What does your doc say?

:) Hey Jim. Have you had a nerve conduction test of the affected muscles to prove that they are damaged? Could be another issue causing the issue. Are you still in a great deal of pain? Is it a groin issue or prosthesis issue?
May need to be more specific. The nerves are very resilient to trauma seem very surprised?
Give us some more info....
