Title: "Peeping"
Post by: Wyoming Kim on May 12, 2016, 01:36:45 PM
....as Doctor DeSmet refers to it from what I've read.
Going on four years (BHR)with great success and no complaints until last night and this morning. I'm hearing an audible sound coming from my hip joint, like the sound of a dry bearing with occasional sounds like churping.
I have a call in to my doctor but I thought I'd post up to see what else I can learn from others.....any thoughts or knowledge appreciated.
Thanks and have a great day.

 8) Hi Kim hard to know if it is excess fluid or dry??  do some 1 leg leg squats and see if it is worse or better. If there is too much fluid it will make a hissing and a grinding noise only once on a squat. you will have to go into a full squat it is quite weird. Maybe if it is dry it will creak the next time you do it. yes de smet comments on this in his comparisons BHR to conserve plus document but more just squeaking i think from memory.

Cheers K

Hi Kim

I wouldn't worry about it.  I had it for a month on and off about 9 months in after my BHR.  It was really strange at first and I got blood tests etc just for reassurance but after that I've had nothing since.  I think some of us experience it and some don't.  It will go in time.
