Thanks for posting this.

From the tone of the article, it appears that the author isn’t that optimistic for the players return to competitive play.

I bet he returns to hockey and finishes his contract.

It will be interesting to see how he does.

My guess is he tries to return, assuming his rehab goes well. Obviously, he was close to the end of his career in any event, but he seems like the type of athlete that will commit to doing everything he can to play that last year.

 IIRC Ed Jovanowski and Jay Bouwmeester have had HR's done. Jovan barely returned. Bouwmeester still plays for St Louis. I'm sure there will be tons of goalies going this route. Lots have hip issues from constant butterfly style play.

Apparently Ryan Kessler had his second hip done.

Sincere thanks to Dr. Su and the amazing staff @ HSS in NYC. It will be a long recovery but I look forward to the same success as my 1st hip surgery. To move without pain is the best gift.
