Post by: Jezzer on November 02, 2023, 09:26:25 AM
Hi All,

Having BHR on Right Hip next week at Priory Hospital in Birmingham UK, I am 59 year old male and cannot wait to be out of pain as suffered now for 3 / 4 years. Any advice for recovery please? Thanks in advance.

Don't over do it and its ok if recovery takes longer than many on here. Everyone heals differently, the surgical approach and unique surgical needs affect recovery time as well. Ask your surgeon what muscles/tendons will be cut and ease into  exercises that stretch and activate them. Don't rush trying to strengthen them.
