Hi Gail

There are quite a few bi-lat patients with hip resurfacing, here are a few of their stories:

Linda had a bi-lat http://www.surfacehippy.info/lindapugliese.php  with Dr. Bose of India

Michelle had a bi-lat http://www.surfacehippy.info/michelle06.php with Dr. De Smet of Belgium

Farley had a bi-lat http://www.surfacehippy.info/farley07.php with Dr. Klug of the US

Ross had a bi-lat http://www.surfacehippy.info/rosspeterson.php with Dr. Shimmin

Jim had a bi-lat http://www.surfacehippy.info/jimroxburgh.php with Dr. Schmaltzreid

Dr. Bose is probably one of the best known surgeons in India. Many people from the US have gone to him. You can see their stories on my Surface Hippy Hip Stories Page http://www.surfacehippy.info/hipstories.php  Dr. Bose has done over 800 hip resurfacing surgeries and everyone that I know of has been very happy with their surgeries and hospital stay in India.

Here is Dr. Bose's information:

I think selecting a doctor is a very personal choice. Most people get a feel for a doctor they seem to like and trust.  Give yourself a little time and do some thinking about it all. Be sure to ask questions of your doctor no matter how trivial you feel they are. Most good doctors are very helpful in answering patients questions. Many of the overseas doctors will answer your questions via email. They are normally very quick to respond.

If I can help in any other way, please let me know.
