I had appointment with Doc. yesterday and asked alot of questions most of them came from this websight. His name is on your websight.Dr. Barba He said he's done 60 BHR now and hundreds of THRs. I was very concerned about having to go to rehab hospital but he said after 3 or 4 days I should be able to come home. He said he only mentioned that our first visit because it is possable although unlikely.Asked about 90 degree rule he said yes for 6 weeks. Said they would have me up and moving few hours after surgery. As for BHR over THR he said he believed I was a good candidate for BHR because of age and activity but that would also depend on what he finds when he gets in there. He does the ice and alot of stuff like I've read on this sight and just his attitude I'm comfortable with. Only 3 days of gimpping around left. Man I sure hope I get to keep that gimp tag you hang from the mirror! That thing is awsome LOL Anyways thanks to all of you We have learned alot in a short amount of time.
