Leg strength
« on: August 31, 2013, 06:45:16 AM »
Last night at judo I finally decided to take the plunge and do some of the warm up that until now I've had to back out of. I actually picked up and carried the heavyset guy on the mat around 115kg ;)

You've been patient and worked hard to develop strength and stability with your BHR so that's a great sign of ever increasing confidence.

Well done.

Thanks nick (how's the new kitten;) ).

Hern hip felt totally fine. Both legs feel tired today as we did a lot of randori.

I did pull of of doing the squats with the guy on my shoulders as I just think it might be ott but was well happy with the carry as it felt totally fine ;)

New kitten Kuso is enjoying life and a minimum of 3 sardines a day plus dry food - currently weighing in at 2.6 kg - he was 0.9 kg when we collected him.

Without him knowing he's helping both of us in so many ways.

Anglesey is busy this weekend - first 'Tour of Anglesey' cycle race, and first 135 mile running race around the island's coastline - started by Prince William and wifey Kate - baby George at home with nanny.
