only a woman would ask this!!

Okay; so maybe this is silly but I've so "enjoyed" my white TEDS while recovering but wondered if they came in black.  I will have my 2nd hip done in December and think black would work better for my winter wardrobe.

Sorry Pat for the fashion question but thought someone might know!

Hi Allison

Not a bad question.  I have heard long discussion on the Yahoo group about womens underwear appropiate for post op recovery!  Boxer shorts, women's boxers and no underwear!  All important when you are hobbling around needing to be comfortable and needing to use the bathroom easily!

I think I have seen them in flesh color.  I just put my dark socks over mine and wore loose long pants.  No one could tell I had them on. Actually in March in Belgium, they felt pretty good.

Have fun!

Well, I think they're pretty much like nylon pantyhose or knee-hi's, so I don't think it's silly.  It was just too hard for me to get them pulled up on my operated side.  Husband had to help!  They do make them!  Here's a link to a website that carries them (I am NOT endorsing this website, just found it for you).

Good question - I never thought about it but that would have been helpful in winter.  Like Pat, I just put (okay, my husband put) dark socks over them and they didn't show - except toward the end when they got saggy and started sliding down a lot.
