CRPS Complications with Hip Resurfacing Post-Op?

Hi Everyone,

I am a 41 year old female diagnosed recently with AVN in both of my hips, but I have been suffering from CRPS for 12 years. I was wondering if there is anyone else here who suffers from Type I CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome--also known as RSD, Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy) and if you had any long-term or even short-term complications because of it. I am terrified of losing more athletic abilities from major hip surgery, and I'm worried that I'll be in even more pain than I already am after surgery. Do any of you know doctors who can properly resurface patients with AVN and CRPS?
