Hi Seema - Welcome to Surface Hippy. You'll find plenty of advice about PT on this site, but remember that we're not doctors (at least I'm not a doctor) so your best advice will come from your doctor.
Can you tell us a little about yourself? Have you had hip resurfacing surgery or are you planning to? What led to your decision.
I started PT after 3 wks following Birmingham Hip Resurfacing on my right hip and it helped start to build strength and flexibility. My therapist knew how to take it easy and not push too hard.
What questions do you have?
- Tom

Hi Seema

Welcome to Hip Talk.

A good place to start learning about hip resurfacing is the Visitors Guide on the main website
http://www.surfacehippy.info/visitorguide.php

Then listening to the videos about hip resurfacing and then the doctor videos will help you learn a great deal.

The final section that will help is to read some of the over 100 personal stories.  People explain their decisions to have hip resurfacing, their surgeries and their recoveries.

I think that is a good start for you to learn.  An evening of reading and watching videos will really give you good basic information about hip resurfacing and why we have all choosen that option.
