I had my left hip resurfaced by Dr. Gross on 9/6/06. You will have no problem climbing up or going down trails. The hip works as a normal one would. If you are thinking about it. and you want to enjoy life again, GO FOR IT..

With all the news lately about the metal on metal being bad, etc I though I would check in again.I am now 6 years, 2 months post op. Still the best decision I ever made and pain free unless I overdo the soft tissue. I have Biomet Magnum 60mm acetabular component and the Biomet Recap 54mm cemented femoral component.
