November 8, 2010 Bilateral BHR surgery was performed by Dr Scott Marwin at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases on 9/28/10. 61 year old male 6’1 220# good physical condition. Required 2 units of Blood due to blood loss and resulting low blood count. Incisions were 10-12″ 38/44 staples Transferred to Acute Rehab (Rusk Rehabilitation) resident in hospital on 10/2/10. January 9, 2009 Two years ago today (1/9/2009) I had BHR on my right hip, but the rest of me is still 50+ years old. Other parts of my body have some aches and pains, but my new hip has no pain, no clunking, no shorter leg, so squeaking, better than new.
