Primative HRA implant found 90 year old woman?

I know I read this somewhere on this sight. I looked all over, and cannot find the post. Does anyone remember reading a post about a 60 year old HRA device found in a 90 year old woman?

If so, could you pass it on so I can ask Dr. Gross about it?

I've said it before. The actual related data associated with the BHR goes back a long long way. That's why in my view the bhr is the best thought out device on the Market. They drew on all the clinical evidence and used that to help them develop the bhr. So in reality the alloy used (ie vitalium) has 60+ years of clinical data. There were THR's reviewed by both Mcminn and Treacy that were MOM of the same as cast vitalium alloy that were 40+ years in situ. And a hip resurfacing eliminates a lot of the negatives of a THR such as stress shielding and these are reasons for failure in THR's. If you have a top surgeon place a device properly then you may well have it for life.
