Title: Anyone in the Dallas, TX Area in Need of a Support Buddy?
Post by: DebbieAtchley on November 02, 2007, 12:50:50 PM
I had my right hip resurfaced July 19, 2007; I am 58, married 40 years and still working.   I have gotten lazy on my committment to working out.  I know what I need to do but doing it is another matter.  I asked at my doctor's office is there was a support group for his patients and they said NO, hard to believe.  I still experience some discomfort in my leg but am thrilled to be able to walk; and have no fear of going anywhere.  If anyone would like to visit or connect for a walk please reply via the email contact from this group.

Hi Debbie

I hope you find a walking buddy.

I just wanted to warn you that if you join the large Yahoo Surface Hippy Discussion group and post the same message - don't include you email addy.  Just tell people to email you privately - they will have your email if they are members.

You open yourself up to a lots and lots of spam by posting your email publically.

You might want to just tell people to email you thru our Hip Talk group also and remove your email address if you don't want to get spammed.  I actually get hundreds of spam emails a day because I have my email posted as a contact on all my websites.  There are software programs that go out looking for email addresses.

I want you to spend time walking - not deleting junk emails from your computer.

Good Luck.   Pat
