Hi

BHR page   http://www.surfacehippy.info/bhr.php (http://www.surfacehippy.info/bhr.php)

Wright C+  page   http://www.surfacehippy.info/wrightcplus.php (http://www.surfacehippy.info/wrightcplus.php)

Many more BHRs have been placed than Wright C+ devices.  You can check the national registries to see how the two compare  http://www.surfacehippy.info/nationalregistries.php (http://www.surfacehippy.info/nationalregistries.php)

Some doctors use both.  Dr. De Smet uses both. He prefers the instrumentation for the Wright C+ since he developed much of it.  What he uses is not always available in the US because everything including the instrumentation must be FDA approved.

It is best to let the surgeon decide what is right for the patient.  Each has it's own differences and we as patients don't have the skill of placing them in thousands of patients.  Some work better for different types of bodies.  Choose a really experinced surgeon and let them decide what is best for your situation.
