It has been two years since my LBHR.
I have had ten plus hard falls on the hip, most through sport and couple through general stuff. At the time it is a concern but the hip is good.
I train 2-3 times per week and I would say I am nearly back to my level pre surgery. I choose not to jog or play football anymore.
It is great to be pain free but being this active is a massive bonus. My right hip is showing signs of what is to come....but I will not wait as long as I did with my left hip.

That's the sort of post we all like to hear.
Thanks for the update.
Andy
I'm glad to hear everything is going well. I'm six weeks post op on both hips. I hope to get back to where I was prior to my hip issues soon.

Good to hear you are doing well, Terry. I did teh same and went in for my right hip at an earlier stage than my left. I'm glad I did.
Best wishes
Ed
I am 4 months ahead of you and also doing very well. My other hip is just starting to give a few pains every once in awhile. I have been taking Krill Oil lately and that has quieted it down, but I know that is just temporary. I also eliminated jogging and any soccer but still remain very active.
Glad to hear you are doing well.
