Last night during the national news, I believe it was ABC, S&N ran an ad for the BHR system. I had previously seen one for their knee implants. It showed a digital animated see through figure doing sporting activities with the device in place and how it moves.
Interesting, did anyone else see it?

They have been running the same or similar ad on CBS. I saw it last Sunday while watching "Sunday Morning."

Just out of interest I visited the web site referred to above and tried out its surgeon locator, using my (New England) zip code. Not surprisingly it gave me the names of a number of Boston area surgeons as well as one in RI. But it struck me as odd that while Alfred Hanmer's name was given, his colleague Dr. Snyder at NWA was not named. Similarly, in RI it did not name Dr. Marchand. So I would suggest that users of that site should be aware that the surgeon names are by no means exhaustive, and they would do well to refer to other sources, such as this excellent site, when looking for BHR specialists to consider.
