My insurance just changed to HealthNet California PPO. Does anyone have any experience with getting hip replacement covered by them? I've lived with two bad hips for more than 15 years, and don't want to wait much longer to have something done. But I'm dreading getting "the letter" from HealthNet.

I don't have any health insurance experience since I did not have any. I had to go to Dr. De Smet in Belgium since I could not afford surgery in the US.
I just wanted to split your post to make it a new topic so people could see the name of your insurance company better. When people keep adding posts after so many responses - they sorta get lost.
