I have more pics of my animals but not sure if appropriate for here...
lol

By demand (I think) I am starting a thread for pictures of hippies, their pets and environments. Chuck and Pat, I do not know what category to put this in (or even if it will be popular), but maybe it needs a category for pictures.

				And to get started ...

Hip stories is probably not the correct section, maybe Patty can figure this one out, this one is above my pay grade.  I always thought it might be nice to have a chat section.
What are your thoughts Pat????

Lop you live in a beautiful and exotic place.  It must be amazing to live there.  Are you originally from Thailand?  What took you there?
We don't have any pets since we lost our three "elder" cats all within a couple of months several years ago.
Here are some pics of my "environment", though.  October can bring some of the nicest weather of the year here, when we're not in the middle of a firestorm.  Saturday was one of those days (not a firestorm) so we decided to go for a walk to a Land Conservancy preserve in our neighborhood.
Our destination is the top of that hill, about a 4.5 mile round trip from the house.

This is a road near our house, actually just facing the opposite direction from the previous picture.  I'm not sure how you can go 40 mph and 15 mph at the same time.

This is the entrance to Heller's Bend.

A small creek at the bottom of the hill.

The beginning of the road up the hill.  It's only about 1/2 mile to the top but it gets pretty steep.

Here's a view fromt he top, looking east.  The faint white band in the center is Interstate 15, probably 6 miles away.

Mike, yes I am lucky to live in an exotic land, warm, and good for arthritis. Where you lives looks good too. Apart from being on the other side of the world, I would like to hike there.

A good place to live, but a long way from experienced hip surgeons.

Hmm given the choice between London and Thailand I know which I would choose!! But I think I'd most like to live in San fran!

				Why's that then?

Mate London is just a hole these days! I do alot of work up there and hate the place.
Where in Thailand are you now?

I mean why do you want to live in San Fransisco (I presume).
A few weeks back I was in London. I used to love it, but do not think I could live there anymore.
If you ever get to Chiang Mai, or anywhere close, I would be pleased to meet you Danny.
Dan.

I been to San fran several times and just loved it it's so Buitiful and such a friendly place. I do really need to get over to Thailand sometime!

I was born in San Francisco and grew up about 40 miles south of there, but moved away when I was 18 years old.  It's a beautiful city and I wish I could get back there more often.  We have reservations to spend the New Year's weekend up there.
I visited London for a very short time when I was about 16 or 17 and would like to go back to really see it sometime.  I'd like to go to Thailand too, as well as about 50 or 60 other places, before I leave this world and my metal hips behind.

Sounds like a worldwide Hippie tour is in order.....  Europe, Asia, North America and perhaps South America!!!!  Let's go!

Sounds like we're just about neighbors.  I live in Fallbrook (at work now in Carlsbad).  Sean (23109VC) lives, I think, in Temecula.
