Title: bilateral resurfacing
Post by: austin.m on February 07, 2008, 06:14:49 PM
I've just signed up for a bilateral resurfacing. 51 and very physically active and I'm very interested in any tips as to what to expect (watch out for) in the post-op rehab process.

Hi Austin
Good luck on the bilateral. I only had my right hip done 2 months ago.I waited 3 months for the operation in order to get in shape as i could not get to the gym after work because i was in to much pain. I started going to the gym at 6am when i was not in pain. Insted of pain after work i was in pain at work around 1pm. But i got my work out in and i think it helped with my recovery from what i read. I liked using the abductor, aductor machine it felt great on my hip and a great streach too. The only thing is i had too fight all the women to get.
