Had surgery this morning and everything went great. When I stood up the first time I was nauseous but that has been
the only hiccup. Thanks for all the support and advice.Glad it's done! Also not a big fan of the catheter but get it out in the
morning.
Excellent news Buckeye! Yes, I think the catheter was the worst part for me.

sounds like you are off to a good start. who was your doctor?
fyi ... i think many, many people are nauseous when they first sit-up/stand-up (i know i was).
Just had the catheter removed this morning, that was alot of fun.My doc was Joe Assenmacher in Toledo, Ohio,he's excellent
and I would highly recommmend him to anyone in this part of the country.
Awesome news!! Curt
Great, the first few days it's just so good to get out of that damned bed, if only for a minute. Take it as it comes but keep moving forward. We've all been there, I keep reading posts to see if what I'm feeling is normal, and what to expect next. Its so good to have this forum to help.
Congrats osubucks and welcome to the other side. Thanks for your doctor's name, it's good to expand the list of competent surgeons for people following.
Great news - keep us posted on your progress!
COngratulations OSUBUCKS
congrats...I agree, the catheter coming out had my dog whimpering for a few days...

I had to have one inserted when I was awake and removed as well. HANDS DOWN THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!!!
