Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. May all your new hips work great and may all who need hips soon be out of pain and active again.

I'm very thankful for the great job that Dr Marwin and all the staff at
NYU Joint Disease Hospital did on my Bilaterals.
I'm also thankful that I'm "busting out of the Joint today"
Happy thanksgiving. Enjoy the football.. and the new (or upcoming) hips.

Happy Thanksgiving! I am thankful I found out about resurfacing before it was too late! I know this time next year I'll be thankful for my new pain free hip!

Happy Thanksgiving! It feels strange being an American in Canada on this day.
I am thankful for
- this wonderful website that Pat has built and allows us to use.
- the skills of my surgeon and his dedication to becoming even better at hip resurfacing.
- my fellow hippies who have led the way and provided valuable insights and suggestions.
- Smith and Nephews for the device
- my new found freedom from hip pain.
Best wishes everyone.

I was so thankful that I forgot to come around here for a few days. Thanks everyone for you valuable input to this forum.
I spent about 5 days building a torsion catapult with my boys due to the show "Punkin Chunkin" and I had no pain, was not slowing down, felt like I had enough energy to keep welding, grinding, hammering, cranking, chasing baseballs that got flung over the fence,...I could have done that all weekend. Actually I did. I was the idiot chasing down the balls and the boys were still standing there at the catapult, 500 ft away, "come on Dad, bring back the ball". About the 20th time, I realized that I could tell them that they should go get the balls, but then I was happy to do it. It felt great, no pain.
