Title: Best Heating Pad
Post by: Woodstock Hippy on January 12, 2012, 06:38:26 AM
This thing is becoming my best friend:

I wore out the medium one that I had at my upstate house and just bought another large one.  It's big enough to cover the whole hip area and it has a timer switch.  Nice moist heat, it feels so good and loosens up stiffness.

Thought I'd pass it along.

Looks like a good piece of kit! Ive been using hot water bottles and the gel hot&cold packs. Ive not seen anything like this over here in the uk but i might keep my eyes open!

They look great. I've used the heat pads that you have to stick on a piece of clothing over the hip as you can't put them directly on the skin, but didn't find them affective because clothes move! Plus they were way too small too.

I keep a heating pad at work simply because I am cold natured and like to sit on it.  The bonus now is it feels good on my hip postoperatively!
