Just reading a bunch of stuff and I have my pre op meeting in about two weeks? Any last suggestions for questions for the Dr.'s? I have a note pad of things written down but it comes down to, "hey doc, you get this thing in right and i'll do the rest!" :D The next part is to convince myself this sucker will withstand IM training>
The best and only way to convince yourself is to start slowly from the day after surgery building yourself back up with IM in mind. I know you can do it but the hardest part is to be patient. During the first six months it's very easy to over do it and set back your progress, but it's important to keep going forward. You'll get there. Just give yourself plenty of time and and go slooooooooooooooooooooooly!
Have you seen the new Flo wheels? If I thought I'd be racing this year, I'd be ordering a set on the launch day, Monday.
no i haven't but I have to give props to Lance for finishng second in Panama! Not to mention his sick ride. Still waiting for my P3 to be build:)
Good luck with your surgery. It won't be long now until you can start on your second triathlon career
Check these out, they might help give you motivation for all the hard work you have coming up
