When did you start driving?

Last year I had my staples pulled out 18 days post op on the left side.  Dr Sheehan said I could drive 48 hours after stopping the narcotics.  This year on the right side Dr Alden at first said 6 weeks but when I saw him at 2 weeks I convinced him I could drive ok and he released me to be able to drive.

I was released to drive at 3 weeks.

If you count the time on my Dad's lap...about eight years old.  Totally by myself at fifteen and a half years.

I was told when I could easily get in and out of the car, and move my foot from accelerator to the pedal. It was about 2 and 1/2 weeks.

I drove at the beginning of second week. However, I had a LBHR. Did not affect my driving leg and I was off pain meds.
