Whilst dozing last night I didn't really sleep but when I did drop off I kept vividly dreaming I was crossing my legs which made me then jump in fright and kick my operated leg up on air. A bit like a twitch/reflex! More pain today in my groin but muscle and wound pain. Was worried I had done something to my hip by kicking my leg up of the bed. Nurse said it would take more than that to dislocate it. They getting me up today etc but I a nervous but I have a numb bum and need to get up lol!
Congrats on your new hip! Follow the program, do all the exercises and obey the restrictions, and you'll be like new in no time.

Congrats Rach, you are on your way. Keep us posted!
I had to sleep with a wedge shaped foam pillow that my legs were straped to for the first 4-5 days. It kept my feet about 18-20 inches apart and helped with the jumpyness.
Congrats on the new hip! Treat it well and recover fast! Ice, ice, ice for the first couple weeks it helps a lot!
Good luck
