Pat Walter is posting for Patty:
I was a "surface hippy" in 2004-2005 and surfacehippy Yahoo site saved me! I have had both hips done and would love to share and get more feedback.
Hey, welcome, Patty - would love to hear your experience so far.
Hi Patty. We'd love to hear your story and the difference that it has made to your life. It is so easy for long term success to go unrecognised because life goes back to 'being normal'! For us newbies, the positive reports of someone who has been through it, and has now 'forgotten' that they have a resurfaced hip, is fantastic for our motivation and confidence.
Me too Patty! Id like to hear your story. I agree, it would be nice to hear more from hippies who have put in a few more miles ... see what the future holds and how your HR is doing :)
Patty was having problems trying to post, so I posted for her.
Here is her original post about her first hip by Dr. Gross and now needing her other hip done - perhaps by Dr. Pritchett

Patty - I hope the progress towards the 2nd hip replacement does well - mileage on the first - must be "broken in" by now?
