Post by: lgbran on August 22, 2013, 08:32:24 AM
Will bet my right hip resurfaced early November . Post op do I require new orthotics given that they were made years ago when my hips first started playing up when I used to run long distances and marathons? Btw I have no intention of returning to running. post op when the time is right do I have to get my road bike adjusted, remeassured given that My measurements will have changed.

My custom made orthotics are useless now. I am not sure I even need them anymore since my surgery on June 17th. My gait is completely different and I mean in a good way!
I used to have to go to the podiatrist because I would get a very large callous on the ball of my right foot which was very painful, even with the orthotics....every six weeks or so. I am walking a whole lot more than I did pre-op and that affliction seems to have resolved with the repair of my hip.  :)
