Title: Fastest half marathon in > 5 years
Post by: Arrojo on November 01, 2013, 03:54:17 PM
Last Sunday, I ran a very hilly half marathon.  My time was 2:03:30.  Would have easily broken 2:00 on a flatter course, but then again, where's the challenge?  My training for it peaked at a 40 mile week with a 16-mile long run.

Hip feels great.  I do use the foam roller on it before every run, but otherwise, nothing special.  Love my new hip.

Keep running, my friends!

Wow. I missed the half part, thought we had a near world record.

Sounds excellent Arrojo - could have done faster on a flatter course... sounds like a type A, my friend.

Congrats... at this rate you might get this plodder interested in running.
